It rained HARD on Danielle & Jack’s wedding day, but we embraced and ran with it (literally). Danielle was in the year above me at secondary school, so when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was thrilled. I love a good school friend wedding, it’s usually a pretty good chance to reminisce or see people I haven’t seen in years! A little school reunion!

Finningley Church Ceremony

My day started at Finningley church where the ceremony took place, after some confetti and camper van ride later we headed to the marquee.

Jacks family lake!

Jack’s parents own land that has a lake on it (!!!! I KNOW - the dream!) they set up everything beside the lake and made it look lush for the reception! We headed straight off for some photos in their fields and then on the way back it started to piss it down! Proper! I ran alongside them as Danielle jumped on Jacks back and headed back to the marquee, it was so funny because I had Danielles veil wrapped around my neck like a scarf (kinda wish I got a photo of it!). Luckily the rain stopped later on and we got out for some photos of the family and everyone else!

The sunset was beaut too!
